The 2024–25 season was the 101st season in the history of Rayo Vallecano, and the club's fourth consecutive season in La Liga. In addition to the domestic league, the club participated in the Copa del Rey.
Rayo Vallecano concluded the La Liga season in eighth place, marking their best league finish since the 2012–13 campaign, when they also secured the same position. This achievement qualified the club for a spot in the UEFA Conference League, signaling their return to European competition after a 24-year absence.https://www.football-espana.net/2025/05/24/rayo-vallecano-24-year-wait-european-return-celta-vigo
