Their founder was . was 3rd son of ) who was dispatched to Silla when was a Hanlin Academy in Tang dynasty. was appointed as Prince of Pungcheon () during Goryeo period. No Yu (), a descendant of , began Pungcheon No clan because he was appointed as a Jinshi ().
