De finale van de Europacup I van het seizoen 1988/89 werd gehouden op 24 mei 1989 in Camp Nou in Barcelona. Het Roemeense Steaua Boekarest nam het op tegen het Italiaanse AC Milan. De Milanezen wonnen overtuigend met 4-0. De Nederlanders Marco van Basten en Ruud Gullit scoorden elk twee keer. Ook Frank Rijkaard speelde de volledige wedstrijd bij Milan.
