Uropyxis is een geslacht van schimmels behorend tot de familie Uropyxidaceae. De typesoort is Uropyxis amorphae. De wetenschappelijke naam van het geslacht werd voor het eerst in 1875 geldig gepubliceerd door botanicus Joseph Schröter (1837-1894).
