Aesiocopa grandis is een vlinder uit de familie van de bladrollers (Tortricidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 2014 door John W. Brown., 2014: Review of Aesiocopa Zeller, 1877, with the descriptions of two new species (Tortricidae: Sparganothini). Journal of the Lepidopterists’ Society 68(1): 1-9..
