Dugonia eliera is een vlinder uit de familie van de tandvlinders (Notodontidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1928 door William Schaus.[ "New moths of the family Ceruridae (Notodontidae) in the United States National Museum." Proceedings of The United States National Museum vol. 73 (1929), art. 19, blz. 43.] (artikel gedateerd 27 juni 1928) De soort komt voor in Frans-Guyana.
